GOD is real: my testimony

Sometimes, we doubt GOD's existence but, if you want to know if GOD is real, then this article is for you. Actually, I don't know where to begin. I have lots of eminent encounters with our One True Living GOD JESUS CHRIST to tell. I am overwhelmed by my experiences and encounters with Him. Every day is a new happy day of victorious encounters with Him. Every day I commune with Him, observe Him, and learn from Him. He accompanies me every day and He never left me. He is always by my side. He teaches me and guides me every waking day of my life. I love Him so much and He loves me more. He has lavished me with His great love, mercy, grace, comfort, peace, joy, and forgiveness. Since I started believing in JESUS as my GOD and SAVIOR, accepting Him in my heart, believing in His Words in the Bible, seeking Him, and communicating with Him I am changed. I felt more secure, loving, kind, joyful, sweet, more understanding, I worry less, and I have peace of mind and good health.

To prove to you that our GOD JESUS CHRIST is real and He really exists, I will share to you my experiences with Him. Let me start with how He has saved me and protected me from danger, healed my broken heart, and restored my health-mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The first time GOD revealed to me that He is real was when I was in Cebu, a city in the middle part of the Philippines working at a call center in 2011. It was around noon when my shift ended and I headed back to my boarding house walking on the busy road. There was a heavy traffic and as I stand to wait at the side of the road, I didn't notice that there was a 10-wheeler truck when suddenly I felt someone pulled my shoulder and veered me away from the road to save me from the truck that was about to hit me. I tried to check who grabbed my shoulder and saved me but I saw no one. And from that moment on I started believing that GOD is real and He was the One who saved me from being hit by the truck. It was a great miracle! The LORD JESUS saved my life. He is indeed our loving SAVIOR. GOD is indeed real.

Another instant was when I was praying one night asking the LORD to help me forget my feelings for my crush because I knew it wasn't right because he has a girlfriend. After telling JESUS that I cannot bear the burden, the pain, and the hurt anymore while crying, I felt that the LORD touched my mind and heart erasing the memory and deceitful feelings I have for that man. And then, I felt a strong relief from the pain. I felt the burden was pulled out of my mind and heart and I felt light and happy. Oh, what a glorious night it was and what an awesome GOD we have! This verse found in Psalm 147:3 which says, “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds” is indeed true. Only JESUS can heal our broken heart because that is His promise and He doesn't lie. Our One True Living GOD JESUS CHRIST is real and what He says in the Bible are all true. He said in the Bible in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Another incident that proved JESUS is real and He exists was when we were having our Midweek prayer meeting at our church in the Philippines. I attended the prayer meeting hoping I would be healed from my sore throat and a respiratory infection that was caused by the South East Asian haze that brought pollution to the air in the Philippines in 2015. So I told them my problem and we prayed for me to be healed. While our prayer leader was praying for the complete healing of my respiratory infection, I felt a sudden motion in my throat where the pain was. It was an outside force and I felt that it snatched away the awful and painful feeling in my throat and then the pain in my throat was gone in an instant. Indeed, there is GOD. He is JESUS, our Greatest Healer. He said this in Jeremiah 30:17, "I will restore health unto you and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.”

The LORD JESUS really cared for me because he has also healed me from schizophrenia and the side effects of the anti-depressants which is the eye-roll up. After being hospitalized for 20 days in one of the hospitals here in America, I decided to go home because I don't like being in the hospital and I felt better already. While I was at home lying on the couch one day in August of 2016, I felt worried because I can still hear voices in my head so I prayed. After praying, suddenly I felt a healing touch in the left side of my head and removed all the voices that I heard and gave me insurmountable peace. What a wonderful day it was! I was healed right away. GOD exists! Indeed, nothing is too hard for JESUS because He is Powerful plus He is kind and loving. He always thinks of our good. He really loves us so much and He wants to help us with our problems all we have to do is pray and call upon His name and ask for His help. I am so thankful to our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST for healing me, answering my prayers until now, and for increasing my faith. He is indeed a good and loving GOD whose plans are always for our good. Consider this verse in Jeremiah 29:11 which says, “For I know the plans I have for you says the LORD; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.” This verse in Psalm 107:20 about healing is indeed true also; it says, “He sent out His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.”

Since the day I was healed from my schizophrenia, I felt that the LORD is always beside me. I felt His loving presence always. He communicates with me always. Every time I call on the name of our LORD JESUS, He listens to me. Every time I pray He answers me and gives me wise advice, guides me, and gives me an idea of what to do when I am confused or I have a problem. He is so kind and nice and very friendly and lovely. Thank you so much my ever-loving GOD LORD JESUS for revealing yourself to me.

And, I pray that you will know Him more and have the courage to seek His face and follow Him. Be a believer my friend. It is not yet too late, the LORD is just a prayer away. Call unto Him. His name is JESUS CHRIST. There is only one thing you should do to find out that He is real you just have to believe first that He exists and surrender and trust in Him completely, without doubt, and you'll know that He is real and His words in the Bible are true. Seek Him with all your heart and you'll find Him. Check this verse in Jeremiah 29:13 which says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

• LORD JESUS, I believe that You are the One True Living GOD, my very intelligent Creator, and my very loving Savior. Thank You for creating me and saving me LORD. Thank You for dying on the cross to save me from sin and hell. Please forgive me from all my sins and cleanse me from all my unrighteousness. I repented my sins, please come into my heart and be my LORD and SAVIOR. I want to know You more LORD, please reveal yourself to me. I love You LORD JESUS. Amen.

After praying this prayer, I encourage you to spend time reading your Bible and going into a Bible-based church and spend time communicating with JESUS. Only through communication and obedience that we develop a stronger faith in Him, loving relationship with Him and increased knowledge of Him so we may know Him and rely on Him completely.
