Reasons why we need to have a good, loving, and faithful relationship with JESUS first

Sometimes, we tend to wander off from the faith and focus on the material things of this earth. Material things like money and food, we seek them first. But, JESUS said in Matthew 6:33 that we should seek Him first before anything else and He will give us what we need. We need to have a "good, loving, and faithful" relationship with Him first. What I mean with good, loving, and a faithful relationship is we communicate with Him constantly, obey His commands written in the Bible; and have the fear to commit sin knowing that when we sin, He will be hurt if we hurt Him, we lose our good relationship with Him. Listed below are the reasons why we need to to have a good relationship with JESUS first.

1.) He is our Creator. Isaiah 43:7 tells us that JESUS created all things for His glory. He created us so only Him knows exactly what's best for us. That is why we need to love Him communicate with Him constantly and thank Him for creating us in this wonderful planet so that His good and perfect will, will be done in our lives (Romans 12:2).

2.) He is our Provider. It is written in Psalm 81:10 that the LORD JESUS will provide for us. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrew 13:5). So, we should trust in Him and believe that He is a good and loving GOD. He does not withhold anything good from those who fear and love Him (Psalm 84:11).

3.) He is our Joy-giver. It is found in John 15:11 that JESUS will give us His joy so that our joy may be complete. The joy of the LORD is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

4.) He is our Peace-giver. JESUS said this in John 14:27,Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.JESUS will give us His peace and peace is our greatest necessity; without it, we cannot live and function normally.

6.) He is our Comforter. Psalm 23:4 says that God's rod and staff will comfort us. The LORD is our Source of comfort. He is our Comforter. He said in Matthew 5:4 that, “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.” He will comfort us in times of sorrow, that's for sure.

7.) He is our Guide. The LORD JESUS said in Psalm 32:8, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” If we love and obey JESUS, we have nothing to worry about because He will guide us in everything that we do.

5.) He is our Protector. The apostle Paul said this in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.Surely GOD will protect us against all harm that is why we need to obey Him and maintain a loving relationship with Him so that He will do what we ask like protection for our health, family, and faith.

8.) He is our Healer. The LORD JESUS in Jeremiah 30:17 promised us that He will restore us to health. He does not only heal our body but heals our soul as well. He takes away our guilt and shame and forgives us when we sin if we ask forgiveness.

9.) He is our Teacher and Adviser. GOD in JESUS CHRIST, when He walked on earth has been teaching us and advising us the real way to eternal life. He even promised us in James 1:5 that He will give us wisdom and faith if we work for it, like reading the Bible every day and night (Joshua 1:8).

10.) He is our Savior. It is written in Acts 20:28, that GOD has purchased us with His own blood. He died to save us from sin.

11.) He is the way, the truth, and the life. JESUS said in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except Him. There is no other way to everlasting life but JESUS. Let us all love and obey Him so that we will obtain life through Him.

12.) He loves us so much. It is written in John 3:16 that GOD loves us so much. He even died on the cross to save us from sin and death. We should just trust and believe that JESUS, our Great GOD, and SAVIOR loves us so much. He is a good and loving GOD (Nahum 1:7).

Now, my dearest reader, I advise you to seek JESUS, have a good, loving, and faithful relationship with Him first and obey His command that is to love Him and others so that He will provide you everything you need and protect you from all harm. With JESUS, we are all complete, lacking nothing. I love you with the love of JESUS. God bless.

Is JESUS our GOD?

Have you ever asked yourself who JESUS is? And, have you ever wondered if He is our GOD?  If your answer is yes, then this article is for you. By the way, I used to believe that the LORD JESUS is just the Son of GOD and not GOD Himself. But, after attending some church services in a Christian Pentecostal church in college, I started to question who the real GOD is and what is His Name. Fortunately, last night that question was answered and revealed to me by the LORD JESUS. As I was reading an article about baby JESUS on the Bible app for kids which is called Superbook, I ran across a verse found in 1 Corinthians 12:3 which says tbis, "So I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse JESUS, and no one can say JESUS is LORD, except by the HOLY SPIRIT." We can learn from this Bible verse that JESUS is our One and Only True Living GOD. And, no one can confess that He is GOD except when the person is guided by the Holy Spirit. On the other han...

The Gift of Salvation: The True Meaning of Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching and some people think Christmas is about receiving gifts. They think about the presents, the decorations, and the parties. They are missing out on what Christmas is really about. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. It's about knowing that the world is full of despair and knowing that there is someone out there waiting to save you. It's about not being alone. It's about waiting for someone to come and show you the true meaning of Christmas. And only JESUS has made the biggest move to save us from all the troubles that we experience everyday. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. This is the reason why the Christmas tree is decorated with evergreen and holly, because these plants represent eternal life. The Christmas tree is also decorated with other greenery because it represents the nature of the world. The Christmas tree is decorated with lights and ornaments, because they represent the light o...

What is JESUS’ will for us?

I spent my life looking for answers on what is JESUS’ will for me and what should I do with my life. I yearn for a happy, content and fulfilled life and I have this deep longing inside me for a better purpose. Until one night, while I was praying JESUS revealed to me His will. He told me that His will is to save us because He loves us so much. Check this verse in  1 Timothy 2:3-4 which say, “This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Since JESUS’ ultimate will is to save us, He wants us to receive His gift of salvation. We first have to believe that He died on the cross to save us from hell and sin. We should as well make a firm decision to turn away from sin and obey Him. Then we should establish a loving and faithful relationship with Him above others. Take note of this verse in Matthew 22:37-38 which say, “ And he said to him,   “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with a...
