The perks of having JESUS in your life

Once you have JESUS in your life and you have a loving, godly, and faithful relationship with Him, you will realize that you have everything and you are complete lacking nothing. You will also come to realize that life would have been so good had you believed, accepted, and loved JESUS at an early age. I realize all these now that I have a loving relationship with JESUS. Every day is a happy day and having JESUS is the best thing that ever happened to me.

So, what made me think that having JESUS is the best thing that ever happened to me? It is because there are lots of perks when you have JESUS. What I mean with having JESUS is you believe and accept Him in your heart as your GOD and SAVIOR. You also believe in all His Words in the Bible as true and follow or obey them with all your heart and soul. He is your priority and loving and pleasing Him is your purpose.

Now, what are the perks of having JESUS in our lives? I listed some below based on my experience; you can share yours in the comment section below.

1.) You have a Provider.
We as humans have needs like food, shelter, clothing, water, air, peace, knowledge, wisdom, love, happiness and more. All these needs are met when we have JESUS in our lives. He will take care of all our needs because He is our provider. He is the source of life and He sustains it. This verse in Philippians 4:19 which say, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” prove that JESUS will provide us with everything that we need. He will never forsake us and He will be with us until the end of time.

2.) You have a Comforter.
Whenever I am sad and troubled I just seek JESUS’ presence and pray to Him and I am comforted. Consider this verse in 1 Corinthians 1:3-4 which say, Blessed be the GOD and Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from GOD.” JESUS is the GOD of all comfort so we have the confidence that if we come to Him for comfort, He will comfort us.

3.) You have a trustworthy best friend.
I consider JESUS as my best friend because He is trustworthy, powerful, loving, caring and understanding. Only He knows all my deepest secrets and He understands my weaknesses. He loves me more than my husband and my mother. I trust and love Him more than anyone else. I can’t imagine life without Him. All glory, honor, and praise belong to You LORD JESUS CHRIST!

4.) You have a Healer.
Whenever I am sick, I just call on the Mighty Name of JESUS CHRIST and pray and I am healed. Our LORD JESUS during His ministry here on earth before He was crucified, He healed all kinds of diseases which proves that He is a Healer and that we should only trust and believe that He can and will heal us whenever we need to.

5.) You have a Protector.
The whole chapter of Psalms 91 tells us that JESUS will deliver and protect us from all evil. He also said this in Psalm 12:5, “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise, “says the LORD. “I will protect them from those who malign them.”

6.) You have an all-knowing teacher and wise adviser
The LORD JESUS says this in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” So, whenever we need some knowledge and wisdom or we need a wise advice on what to do or how to do something, we just have to call on the name of JESUS ask Him and talk to Him; and He will answer us. We can rely on Him because he is all-knowing, wise, good, and generous GOD who gives wisdom to all without reproach.

7.) You have a Savior.
JESUS is our Greatest Savior; He saved our ancestors from slavery in Egypt and gave them the Promised Land. He also came to earth, taught us about the Kingdom of God and died on the cross just to save us from sin and death in hell. Check on this verse found in Isaiah 43:11, “I even I, am the LORD, And there is no Savior besides Me.” The LORD JESUS is our One and Only Mighty Savior so we should trust that He will save us anytime we ask for His help.

8.) You have a Problem-solver.
Whenever we face a difficult problem, we can come boldly to the throne of grace and ask help from the Problem-solver, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He has promised to never leave us as orphans (John 14:18), will answer us when we call Him and help us with all our problems because His love for us is steadfast.

9.) You have a joy-giver.
Our LORD JESUS CHRIST is our joy-giver. Meditate on this verse in John 15:11 which say, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” The result of having JESUS in our lives is joy because it is one of the products of the Holy Spirit.

10.) You have a peace-giver.
If you love and obey JESUS, you will have peace. He said this in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

With all these perks being said, we should strive to obey and love JESUS at all times. We should always make Him happy so that He will not leave us because a life apart from Him is meaningless and empty. With JESUS leading us there is no need for us to worry because we have a Mighty Provider, Comforter, trustworthy best friend, Healer, Protector, All-knowing teacher and wise adviser, Savior, Problem-Solver, Joy-giver, and Peace-giver. Having the LORD JESUS CHRIST in our lives is like being in a one-stop shop where we can have all that we need. God bless my dear reader. I hope you will experience JESUS’ great love abundantly. I love you with JESUS’ love. Amen!

Is JESUS our GOD?

Have you ever asked yourself who JESUS is? And, have you ever wondered if He is our GOD?  If your answer is yes, then this article is for you. By the way, I used to believe that the LORD JESUS is just the Son of GOD and not GOD Himself. But, after attending some church services in a Christian Pentecostal church in college, I started to question who the real GOD is and what is His Name. Fortunately, last night that question was answered and revealed to me by the LORD JESUS. As I was reading an article about baby JESUS on the Bible app for kids which is called Superbook, I ran across a verse found in 1 Corinthians 12:3 which says tbis, "So I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse JESUS, and no one can say JESUS is LORD, except by the HOLY SPIRIT." We can learn from this Bible verse that JESUS is our One and Only True Living GOD. And, no one can confess that He is GOD except when the person is guided by the Holy Spirit. On the other han...

The Gift of Salvation: The True Meaning of Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching and some people think Christmas is about receiving gifts. They think about the presents, the decorations, and the parties. They are missing out on what Christmas is really about. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. It's about knowing that the world is full of despair and knowing that there is someone out there waiting to save you. It's about not being alone. It's about waiting for someone to come and show you the true meaning of Christmas. And only JESUS has made the biggest move to save us from all the troubles that we experience everyday. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. This is the reason why the Christmas tree is decorated with evergreen and holly, because these plants represent eternal life. The Christmas tree is also decorated with other greenery because it represents the nature of the world. The Christmas tree is decorated with lights and ornaments, because they represent the light o...

What is JESUS’ will for us?

I spent my life looking for answers on what is JESUS’ will for me and what should I do with my life. I yearn for a happy, content and fulfilled life and I have this deep longing inside me for a better purpose. Until one night, while I was praying JESUS revealed to me His will. He told me that His will is to save us because He loves us so much. Check this verse in  1 Timothy 2:3-4 which say, “This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Since JESUS’ ultimate will is to save us, He wants us to receive His gift of salvation. We first have to believe that He died on the cross to save us from hell and sin. We should as well make a firm decision to turn away from sin and obey Him. Then we should establish a loving and faithful relationship with Him above others. Take note of this verse in Matthew 22:37-38 which say, “ And he said to him,   “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with a...
