Things to do so that JESUS will draw near to you

I am one of the living witnesses of JESUS’ great love for us. JESUS has healed me of my tuberculosis, my broken heart, my depression, my insomnia, and my schizophrenia. He has given me peace and joy. He has accompanied me and we talked to each other every day ever since I was healed from schizophrenia in July 2016. In other words, JESUS and I have a good loving and faithful relationship as friends and as Father and daughter. Having a close relationship with our Creator JESUS CHRIST is the most satisfying and pleasing experience of my life. Every day is a happy day because the LORD is with me counseling me, teaching me, communicating with me and simply lavishing me with His great love. All my heartaches and pains are gone now and are replaced with love, peace, and joy and I want to thank and praise the LORD JESUS for that. Whenever I think of JESUS’ great love for me I also think of others who are not yet saved who doesn’t have a close relationship with Him and have not e...

What is our purpose for living?

For me, seeking our purpose in life is the greatest human longing.  Without purpose, you have no direction and you feel like there is no reason for you to continue living. I have felt that before and have searched here and there for my purpose. Fortunately, after many years of finding my purpose, I found it in the Bible. The Bible is a rich resource where we can find our real purpose and meaning in life. So, the best way to find out our purpose for living is to search the Bible and understand GOD’s purpose for creating us.  We fulfill our purpose by aligning it to JESUS’ purpose and doing what He requires us to do. The LORD JESUS created us to bring Him glory as reflected in Isaiah 43:7 which says, “ They are my own people, and I created them to bring me glory.”  Glory means heavenly happiness this also means that we should please JESUS. The first step to glorifying or pleasing JESUS is to have faith in Him. Having faith means believing in JESUS and being u...

Five biblical ways to do when you are angry

When people mistreat, abuse, belittle, ignore, lie, oppress and insult us we become angry and sometimes when we are jealous we are angry too. There are also times that we get angry when others reject and ignore a good biblical advice from us. Those are just some reasons that trigger us to be angry. Being angry is normal but the Bible says that we can be angry but shall not sin as reflected in this verse in  Ephesians 4:26-27 AMPC,  “ When angry do not sin; do not let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. Leave no (such) room or foothold for the devil (give no opportunity to him).” So, what are the five biblical ways that we should do when we are angry so that we will not sin? Here they are: 1. Calm down and control your anger. Ecclesiastes 7:9 says,  “ Control your temper for anger labels you a fool.”  Don’t swear at the other person’s face or go directly to him/her and yell, slap his/her fac...

13 secrets to hearing GOD’s voice that JESUS taught me

Believe me being a friend of JESUS, hearing His voice and communicating with Him every day is the best thing that ever happened to me. Why, because there is fullness of joy and overwhelming peace in the constant presence of JESUS. I did not expect that JESUS will reveal Himself to me, talk to me, accompany me and guide me every day. I can’t imagine that the Creator of the universe and my Maker made Himself available for me all the time. But, He did. He lavished me with His love, joy, and peace. So, what’s my secret to hearing JESUS’ voice then? In July of 2016 after JESUS healed me from schizophrenia and gave me insurmountable peace, I started hearing a different voice it is like a 10-year old boy’s voice. I asked the LORD why I am hearing a voice again. And He revealed to me that in the Old Testament, He talks with our ancestors like Moses and Abraham. That was the first assuring revelation JESUS told me. From then on, I started to believe that it is normal to hear GOD’s voi...

Best and the godly ways to move on from unrequited love that JESUS taught me

Oftentimes we fell in love with someone who does not love us back either because they are not interested in us or is already committed to someone else. This kind of situation is heartbreaking. And, it is hard for our minds and hearts to accept the truth that we are not loved back. We kept on expecting and hoping that someday the person we love will reciprocate the feeling we have for them. But, the more you hope and expect, the more you become hurt until one day you find the courage to tell yourself, ‘this is enough I have to move on’. So, what are the best and the godly ways to move on from unrequited love? Here they are: 1. Believe and accept JESUS as your LORD and Savior. This is the first step to moving on. By doing this, your focus is shifted from the person you love, to the LORD. If you are not a believer or a Christian yet, you should first believe and accept JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR. You can pray this prayer: “LORD JESUS, I believe that you are the On...

JESUS’ view on money

Most of the time, we think that the world revolves around money, wealth, and possessions. We often think that money will give us security. So, we tend to make acquiring money our priority. We believe that if we have money, people will respect us and esteem us high. Sometimes we sacrifice our own health just to have more money so we can buy the things that we desire and show those things off to everyone expecting to receive praise and adoration from them. We strive to be on the top above everyone else to maintain power, respect, and admiration because we are insecure deep inside and we are consumed by pride. But, the truth is security can only be found in a loving and faithful relationship with JESUS. When we have accepted JESUS and He lives in our hearts, our priorities, views, and life as a whole change. All our worries and insecurities are gone because JESUS will fill our hearts with love and thanksgiving.  On the contrary, most of us do not have a close relationship wi...

The LORD JESUS said in Hosea 6:6 that He wants us to know Him more and love Him more than burnt offerings. This would help us increase our knowledge of the LORD because the knowledge of GOD is a key element of worship and relationship with Him.
