GOD answers prayers: my testimony

Hello there everyone! I am back after three months  of resting. How are you? I hope you are doing well. Allow me to share with you what the LORD did that lifted my faith up to the next level because I have proven that He is real and He answers prayers.

One nice evening the past month, I was praying to GOD and asked Him what does "L' stands for from the acronym  "LCR". I asked Him so, because I asked my cousin in the Philippines to get my sister's LCR Form A1 (birth certificate) from the town where she was born. She needs her birth certificate for her visa so she could come here in the USA. Then, in an instant, GOD answered me and gave me an idea that "L" means "local". I was so amazed. At that very moment I believed that He is real. I was stunned at the LORD'S graciousness, willingness to help, and undying love for me because He always answers my prayers not just this time. Indeed, He is real and He is very willing to help us with our troubles if we ask for His help.

With this experience, the LORD has taught me that for those who believe that He exists (read Hebrews 11:6), He is good (read Nahum 1:7), and He is very willing to help us and answer our prayers  if we obey Him (read Isaiah 46:10), nothing is impossible (read Luke 18:27). He answers our prayers in ways we cannot predict because He wants to surprise us and give us the best so that we would be happy with Him. He even said in Psalms 37:4 this, "Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart." In addition, if we put our trust in the LORD and seek our happiness in Him or prioritize the things that make Him happy, He will be more than happy to answer our prayers, protect us, and love us.

The LORD is faithful and He rewards those who seek Him, love Him, revere Him, and obey Him diligently. With my experience, I have learned that if we trust in the LORD'S undying love for us, He will never fail us. Furthermore, we should learn to rely on Him completely and believe that He will help us because He is good and able. I have also learned that for Him to answer our prayers, we need to remove every piece of doubt in our hearts and trust in Him fully so He can do the things we ask of Him. That is the secret to answered prayer, a good, humble, obedient, and believing heart.

I still have many confessions about GOD answering my prayers but for now, let me just share you this experience so you won't be overwhelmed. I love you my dear reader. Thank you for taking your time reading this post. I hope you have learned to put your trust in the LORD so you will experience His great love and your prayers will be answered too. I also hope and pray that He will increase your faith. Please take hold of your salvation and keep your faith untarnished. May the LORD our GOD bless you with good health, peace of mind, wisdom, joy, and strengthened faith always.

What GOD likes and dislikes

While I was listening to the song "You are Holy (Prince of Peace)" by Michael W. Smith last month, I came across with the lyrics that says "You're the great I am". Upon hearing it, I forgot that the LORD is the Great "I AM" (Exodus 3:14) and I started doubting. But the LORD reminded me that it's Him and that I should not doubt Him because He dislikes a doubtful servant. So, to help you increase your knowledge of Him and know how to love Him, let me tell you the things that He likes and dislikes. Listed below are the things He likes and dislikes. 8 Things GOD likes 1. He likes us. It is said in John 3:16 that GOD loves the world. It means He loves or like us because we are His creations. He gave us His own breath for us to live. 2. He likes a cheerful giver. It is written in second 2 Corinthians 9:7 that GOD loves a cheerful giver. Therefore we should freely give and share whatever we have to our brothers and sisters that are ...

How to be happy the godly way?

Many of us try to seek happiness in our jobs, friends, family, lovers, hobbies, sex, money and material possessions. But all these don't guarantee a real and lasting happiness. Now, how do we define happiness? For me, happiness is loving JESUS and knowing that HE loves me so much that HE died on the cross just for me to be saved. It is also having the knowledge that HE walks with me every day and comforts me. It is having peace of mind and joy as I am being contented and satisfied with my present situation as well. Moreover, it is having a loving and faithful relationship with CHRIST. And, most of all it is being obedient to CHRIST. When you live an obedient life, JESUS will reveal Himself to you and accompany you. His constant presence will give you insurmountable joy. Here are four secrets to happiness that I learned through personal experience and practice: 1. Believe and Accept JESUS CHRIST as your Personal Lord and Savior. Invite JESUS to live in your heart. What is our purpose for living?

For me, seeking our purpose in life is the greatest human longing.  Without purpose, you have no direction and you feel like there is no reason for you to continue living. I have felt that before and have searched here and there for my purpose. Fortunately, after many years of finding my purpose, I found it in the Bible. The Bible is a rich resource where we can find our real purpose and meaning in life. So, the best way to find out our purpose for living is to search the Bible and understand GOD’s purpose for creating us.  We fulfill our purpose by aligning it to JESUS’ purpose and doing what He requires us to do. The LORD JESUS created us to bring Him glory as reflected in Isaiah 43:7 which says, “ They are my own people, and I created them to bring me glory.”  Glory means heavenly happiness this also means that we should please JESUS. The first step to glorifying or pleasing JESUS is to have faith in Him. Having faith means believing in JESUS and being u...
