10 reasons why we should trust in JESUS

If you are still confused about your faith and still in doubt of JESUS and His great love for us or still want to know JESUS more, you should pray that He will establish and strengthen your faith because He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Then, read and memorize these reasons I have listed below by heart. Here are the ten reasons why we should trust in JESUS:

1. He is real and He lives.
Hebrews 11:6 says that JESUS exists and He is real. Also, in Revelation 1:17-18, He told His disciple John that He lives and He is the Living GOD. So, we should believe that all He said are true, because once we do; we will experience His lavish love for us like VIPs. Not just that, we will also have eternal life and live with Him eternally in heaven. If you believe that He is real, please pray this simple prayer sincerely:

LORD JESUS, I believe that You exists and You are real. I believe that You are the One True Living GOD. Thank You for Your great love for me. Thank You for dying on the cross just to save me from hell. Please forgive me from all my sins. Please forgive me from doubting You. Please cleanse me from all my unrighteousness. I repented my sins. Please come into my heart and be my LORD and SAVIOR. I love You, LORD. Amen.

2. His Words are true.
In John 17:17 this is written, “Dedicate them to yourself by means of the truth; Your word is truth.” It is clearly stated here that JESUS’ words are truth. So we should all believe in His Words in the Bible for they are all true. Not just that, we should also put into practice the things that we read in the Bible and repent so we will be prepared for His second coming.

3. He is faithful and keeps His promises.
Proverbs 30:5 says this, “GOD keeps every promise He makes. He is like a shield to those who seek His protection.” In the Old Testament, JESUS promised to make Abraham the Father of many nations and will make His descendants many and He fulfilled it. He also promised Moses that He will accompany him and His people, the Israelites to their journey to the Promised Land. So He went with them as a pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night (1 Corinthians 10:1-4). He also gave them the land that He has promised. Check this verse in Deuteronomy 1:8 which says, “See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore he would give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to their descendants after them.”

4. He is a good and loving God.
We can completely trust in JESUS because He is good and loving. Nahum 1:7 says this, “The LORD is good; He protects His people in times of trouble; He takes care of those who turn to Him.” Psalm 86:15 also says, “But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.” See, JESUS is loving or rich in love. If you read the Bible, you will know that all the stories in it revolve around JESUS’ great love for us.

5. He is our Creator and knows everything about us.
JESUS is our Creator as revealed in Colossians 1:16. All things are created by Him and for Him. He knows every detail about us (Psalm 139:1). And, He knows us before He formed us in our mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). So we should trust in Him because He knows us better than ourselves and knows what’s best for us.

6. He has a great plan for us.
JESUS’ plans are always for our good. Meditate on this verse written in Jeremiah 29:11 which say, “For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.” So let us trust in Him because His plans are not to harm us but to give us hope and a good future.

7. He loves us so much.
JESUS said in Jeremiah 31:3 that He loves us with an everlasting love and have drawn us with unfailing kindness. He also demonstrated His great love for us that while we were yet sinners; He died for us (Romans 5:8). Let us consider this verse also in John 15:13 which say, Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”  He chose to die for us just to save us, what a great love it is. Even now, He is still working for our benefit. He provides us with everything that we need like clean air and water, food, good health, strength, peace of mind, sound mind, and happiness. He sustains our lives. He heals us. He informs and guides us. He comforts us and most of all prepares us for His second coming.

8. He cares for us.
1 Peter 5:7 says this, Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” The LORD JESUS is welcoming us to just give Him our worries and anxieties because He cares for us. He also said in Matthew 11:28 that we should come to Him whenever we are tired because He is always ready and willing to give us rest and comfort us lovingly.

9. He died to save us.
The LORD gave up His life just to reunite us to GOD, give us His kingdom, bring us to eternity, and save us from sin and hell. Ephesians 1:7 says this, “In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.”  Let us also consider this verse in 1 Peter 2:24 which say, He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” Oh, how great JESUS is! He is such a humble and awesome GOD! All highest praises are Yours Oh LORD!

10. He is a merciful judge.
The LORD JESUS is merciful (Ephesians 2:4). Even if He is a judge, He took off His robe and came down to earth, lived a sinless life and died on the cross on our behalf just to save us from sin. He came to earth not as a judge but as a humble, kind, and merciful Savior.

God bless you my dear reader. I hope you have a clear grasp now on why you should trust in JESUS. I also hope and pray that you will believe and trust in Him completely by now. Here is a very nice verse for you to remember, Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths straight.” I love you with the love of JESUS CHRIST. May you have the joy of serving Him. All glory, honor, highest praises, and thanksgiving all belong to you Oh Papa JESUS. I love You. Thank You for providing me with wisdom so I can write this article.

Is JESUS our GOD?

Have you ever asked yourself who JESUS is? And, have you ever wondered if He is our GOD?  If your answer is yes, then this article is for you. By the way, I used to believe that the LORD JESUS is just the Son of GOD and not GOD Himself. But, after attending some church services in a Christian Pentecostal church in college, I started to question who the real GOD is and what is His Name. Fortunately, last night that question was answered and revealed to me by the LORD JESUS. As I was reading an article about baby JESUS on the Bible app for kids which is called Superbook, I ran across a verse found in 1 Corinthians 12:3 which says tbis, "So I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse JESUS, and no one can say JESUS is LORD, except by the HOLY SPIRIT." We can learn from this Bible verse that JESUS is our One and Only True Living GOD. And, no one can confess that He is GOD except when the person is guided by the Holy Spirit. On the other han...

The Gift of Salvation: The True Meaning of Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching and some people think Christmas is about receiving gifts. They think about the presents, the decorations, and the parties. They are missing out on what Christmas is really about. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. It's about knowing that the world is full of despair and knowing that there is someone out there waiting to save you. It's about not being alone. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. This is the reason why the Christmas tree is decorated with evergreen and holly, because these plants represent eternal life. The Christmas tree is also decorated with other greenery because it represents the nature of the world. What is JESUS’ will for us?

I spent my life looking for answers on what is JESUS’ will for me and what should I do with my life. I yearn for a happy, content and fulfilled life and I have this deep longing inside me for a better purpose. Until one night, while I was praying JESUS revealed to me His will. He told me that His will is to save us because He loves us so much. Check this verse in  1 Timothy 2:3-4 which say, “This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Since JESUS’ ultimate will is to save us, He wants us to receive His gift of salvation. We first have to believe that He died on the cross to save us from hell and sin. We should as well make a firm decision to turn away from sin and obey Him. Then we should establish a loving and faithful relationship with Him above others. Take note of this verse in Matthew 22:37-38 which say, “ And he said to him,   “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with a...
