What GOD likes and dislikes

While I was listening to the song "You are Holy (Prince of Peace)" by Michael W. Smith last month, I came across with the lyrics that says "You're the great I am". Upon hearing it, I forgot that the LORD is the Great "I AM" (Exodus 3:14) and I started doubting. But the LORD reminded me that it's Him and that I should not doubt Him because He dislikes a doubtful servant. So, to help you increase your knowledge of Him and know how to love Him, let me tell you the things that He likes and dislikes. Listed below are the things He likes and dislikes. 8 Things GOD likes 1. He likes us. It is said in John 3:16 that GOD loves the world. It means He loves or like us because we are His creations. He gave us His own breath for us to live. 2. He likes a cheerful giver. It is written in second 2 Corinthians 9:7 that GOD loves a cheerful giver. Therefore we should freely give and share whatever we have to our brothers and sisters that are ...

JESUS, our visa to heaven

Last night the LORD JESUS and I talked about my sister's visa and how she could come here in the USA. Then, unconsciously, I asked the LORD. I said, "LORD how could we come to heaven?" Is there some sort of a visa to heaven too? And I felt the LORD smiled and He answered. He said, "of course there is, you people already have a visa to heaven. He is JESUS you just have to believe, love, and accept Him." Upon hearing the LORD'S reply, I felt peace, joy, a sense of assurance, and an increased level of security because I know and felt that I am on the right track and I am worshiping the right GOD, the One and Only true living GOD, JESUS CHRIST. He is from heaven. He is sinless and pure but He offered His life for me and for you. He chose to die on the cross just to save us from sin and bring us to GOD. It is GOD'S great plan and will to give us heaven and allow us to enjoy the abundant life and the splendor of a life lived with JESUS while we are...

Seven advantages of loving JESUS

It is said in Matthew 22:37-38 that loving JESUS with all our heart, soul, and mind is the first and greatest commandment. And, in 2014 after two years of attending church services in a Christian Pentecostal church in our village, I have come across with that Bible verse and I decided to live by it. Every morning when I woke up I would remind myself to love JESUS first above all by doing the things that would make Him happy like praying, reading the Bible, and singing songs of praise to Him. From that time until now I continue to do those things to glorify JESUS as my GOD since it is our main purpose here on earth (Isaiah 43:7). So now, let me enumerate the advantages that I experienced from loving JESUS. Here they are: 1. You are not alone. Deciding to love and obey JESUS and doing the things that make Him happy make you feel that you are not alone. You have a good and loving GOD and best friend who accompanies you every day. Therefore, with JESUS life is never boring. S...

GOD answers prayers: my testimony

Hello there everyone! I am back after three months   of resting. How are you? I hope you are doing well. Allow me to share with you what the LORD did that lifted my faith up to the next level because I have proven that He is real and He answers prayers. One nice evening the past month, I was praying to GOD and asked Him what does "L' stands for from the acronym   "LCR". I asked Him so, because I asked my cousin in the Philippines to get my sister's LCR Form A1 (birth certificate) from the town where she was born. She needs her birth certificate for her visa so she could come here in the USA. Then, in an instant, GOD answered me and gave me an idea that "L" means "local". I was so amazed. At that very moment I believed that He is real. I was stunned at the LORD'S graciousness, willingness to help, and undying love for me because He always answers my prayers not just this time. Indeed, He is real and He is very willing to help us...

JESUS, my very trustworthy and helpful best friend

Hi there! How are you guys? I hope everything is okay. Allow me to share with you why I consider the LORD JESUS my very trustworthy and helpful best friend. What the Bible says in Nahum 1:7 that the LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble is indeed true. I said this because the LORD has proven to me many times that He is good. He has taken good care of my very delicate feelings. He always makes sure that I am never hurt mentally, emotionally, and physically. Like what He did during my two dental cleaning appointments last year and last July. I prayed so hard for two weeks that the deep cleaning appointment won't hurt me so bad. And, He has helped me as I expected. The dental hygienist cleaned my teeth so well without any trace of pain. He did everything just to make me feel valued, well-taken care of, and loved. And it made me so glad that I wanted to express my happiness by giving Him thanks and praise for He deserves it. I consider the LORD JESUS as my very ...

Why does GOD allow pain and sufferings

When the LORD JESUS revealed to me the reason why He allows pain and suffering, I felt a very deep sense of comfort and joy. Why, because I have come to know that He is indeed a loving GOD; that He only allows pain because He loves us and wants us to be saved. He said there is pain and suffering here on earth because this world is fallen after Adam and Eve sinned. They were subject to death and penalty. Since we are fallen, we sometimes cannot discern what is good and evil and we tend to do evil and commit sin. Sin is that rebellious spirit that lives in our heart that doesn't want to be controlled. Sin would result to eternal damnation in hell. Therefore, He doesn't want us to sin because the payment for sin is death in hell (Romans 6:23). He added that He allows pain and suffering because He loves us so much and wants us to stop sinning. He wants to save us and give us eternal life. His ultimate will is to save us (1 Timothy 2:4). Therefore, He should allow pain to ...
