Top four reasons why the LORD JESUS hates sin



What the LORD JESUS said in Jeremiah 31:3 that He has loved us with an everlasting love and have drawn us with unfailing kindness is indeed true. In fact, last week, while I was resting in bed, the LORD JESUS revealed to me Himself and how much He loves us. Also, the other day, when I was pondering on what to write, the LORD JESUS reminded me that His love for us is so great and genuine. He said that He considers us as His beloved children and He wants to give the best for us always. He also revealed to me that He hates sin. Now, what is sin? Sin is disobeying GOD's law written in the Bible. In fact, 1 John 3:4 says this, "Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact sin is lawlessness.”  Here are the top four reasons why JESUS hates sin:

1.) Because He loves us so much and doesn't want us to be separated from Him.
Sin separates us from GOD. Isaiah 59:2 says this, “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.” When we sin, we turn away from the LORD JESUS and avoid Him because we feel guilty and ashamed of ourselves. And, that hurt Him because He loves us so much and He wants to maintain a good, loving, and faithful relationship with us as His beloved children. He wants to be always near us so He can express His great love for us, guide us, bless us with everything, protect us, and put us under His care.

2.) Because if we sin we are hurting Him and ourselves.
When we sin we are hurting the LORD JESUS because He loves us so much and He doesn't want to see us suffer from the consequence of sin which is physical death (read Romans 6:23) and second death in hell (read Revelation 21:8). That is why He came down to earth many years ago to offer His Holy life to GOD as a propitiation for our sins so we will be saved and not suffer the punishment of sin and not hurt ourselves.

3.) Because He wants us to be saved.
1 Timothy 2:4-6 say this, “God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth. There is only one God, and there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who as a man gave himself to pay for everyone to be free. This is the message that was given to us at just the right time.” The LORD JESUS' great plan for us is to save us all and bring us to heaven someday to live with Him there eternally but sin hinders the fulfillment of that plan. But, He already offered Himself as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. All we have to do is receive Him, ask forgiveness for our sins, repent, love Him, and obey Him.

4.) He doesn't want us to die in hell which is the second death.
It is said in the Bible specifically in Romans 6:23 that the punishment of sin is death but the gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD. The LORD doesn't want us to just die and be in hell and suffer there but He wants us to live eternally with Him that is why He came here to earth and became man (1 John 4:2) and chose to die on the cross as an offering so that we will all be saved from sin and live in eternity with Him in heaven. That's how Great His love is for us. That is why we need to tell others of this amazing truth so that they will believe and be saved too. Because all who will believe and confess that JESUS is our GOD (Romans 10:9) will be saved; he and his entire household.

5.) Because He wants us to be like Him, honest, patient, loving, and merciful.
The LORD JESUS wants us to be like Him.. He is  patient, kind, and loving. If we decide to receive the gift of salvation of the LORD JESUS CHRIST He also wants us to follow His good ways and be like Him who is honest, patient, loving, and merciful.

So, please my dear reader, let us not hurt the LORD by sinning. Let us read and obey His Words in the Bible. Let us read the Bible day and night (Joshua 1:8) and apply what we have learned from it. If we do our best to obey the LORD JESUS, He will hear us and answer our prayers. May our Great God bless us you, keep you and guide you so you won't sin. Please receive Him in your heart and make Him your personal LORD and SAVIOR. He said this in John 14:23, “Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them.” And, when the LORD JESUS dwells in our hearts, He becomes our guide and we cannot sin because He is perfect. If you want to receive Him now in your heart, please pray this simple sinner's prayer sincerely:
  • LORD JESUS, I love you. I believe that You are our One and Only True Living GOD. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for dying on the cross just to save me from sin and eternal punishment in hell. Please forgive me from all my sins and cleanse me from all my unrighteousness. I repented my sins. Please come into my heart and be my LORD and SAVIOR. I am now ready to offer my life to You, love You, and serve You. Amen.
If you have prayed that sinner's prayer sincerely, you are now saved. Please hold on to your salvation by maintaining a good, loving, and faithful relationship with the LORD JESUS. Read your Bible day and night and obey it. Then, seek a Born-again Christian Pentecostal or Baptist Church near you and attend church services there. You should also be baptized and I suggest, you should hang out with good and loving Christians who can positively influence you in your walk with CHRIST. Congratulations! You are now a believer. And, as a believer, always remember that the LORD JESUS hates sin so you must hate it too because it will hurt the LORD. And you should not hurt Him because He desires your love (read Hosea 6:6). Also, loving Him is His first and greatest commandment (read Matthew 22:37-38). I love you with the love of the LORD, my dear reader. LORD JESUS, thank You for guiding me to write this piece.
