Have
you ever asked yourself and the LORD JESUS of the things He wants us
to know? If you do, we share the same interest. Earlier today, I
asked the LORD JESUS what are the things He wants us to know and here
are His divine answers:
1.
He wants us to know that He is the One and Only True Living GOD.
It
is written in Hosea 6:6 in the Bible that the LORD wants us to know
Him. He told me the same when I asked Him earlier today of the things
He wants us to know. He said He wants us to know Him and believe in
Him as the One and Only True Living GOD. He said He is the Father in
Spirit and He gave Himself a body when He walked on earth as fully
GOD and fully man 2,000 years ago. In Matthew 4:7, the LORD JESUS
revealed Himself as the LORD our GOD. Here is the verse “Jesus
answered him, “It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to
the test.” The
LORD JESUS told Satan not to tempt Him, the LORD our GOD. That is a
clear revelation of who JESUS is. He is the LORD our GOD. The LORD
JESUS also revealed Himself to John in Revelation 1:17-18 which say,
“When
I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then He placed His
right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and
the Last.
I
am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and
ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." The
LORD JESUS revealed Himself as the first and the Last. It means He is
the First and no one is above Him. He is the same GOD our ancestors
worship before in the Old Testament. Let us check Isaiah 44:6 which
say, “This
is what the Lord says Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty:
I am the First and the Last; apart from Me there is no GOD.”
According
to this verse, the LORD JESUS who died for us and now lives forever
and ever is called the First and the Last and the Only GOD; for He
says that apart from Him there is no GOD. In 1 John 5:20, it is also
revealed that the LORD JESUS is the True GOD and eternal life. Here
is the verse: “And
we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an
understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him
who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and
eternal life.”
1 Corinthians 10:1-4 also reveals that the LORD JESUS is the GOD who
guided our ancestors out of Egypt and led them to the Promised Land.
Here is the verse:
“For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and
sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they
all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the
cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank
the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that
accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.”
Therefore let us believe in the LORD JESUS as the One and Only True
Living GOD and be saved.
2.
He wants us to know that He is love.
1
John 4:8 says this,
“Whoever
does not love does not know God, because God is love.” The
LORD JESUS wants us to know that He is love that is why we should
love one another as much as He has loved us (John 13:34). The
LORD JESUS wants us to know and keep in mind that we should love Him
and our neighbors for it is His greatest commandments. Let us
meditate on this verse found in Matthew 22:37-39 which say, “Jesus
replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as
yourself.” The
LORD JESUS also reminded us in this verse found in Leviticus 9:18
which say, “Do
not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your
neighbors as you love yourself. I am the Lord.”
The
LORD JESUS also wants us to remember this verse in Ephesians 4:2-3
which say, “Be
always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant
with one another. Do your best to preserve the unity which the Spirit
gives by means of the peace that binds you together.”
3.
He wants us to know that He is good and loving.
Nahum
1:7 says this, “The
LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who
trust in Him.” Based
on my walk with the LORD JESUS, I have experienced, discovered, and
proven that He is good. He forgives me when I ask for forgiveness. He
understands my flaws and imperfections. He strengthens my faith and
never left me. He comforts me and encourages me when I feel down and
lonely. He guides, teaches, and advises me. He treats me like a
precious child. And, He was never mad at me. He is so sweet, humble,
and kind that I always long and desire to be with Him. Oh, how I love
You LORD JESUS. I just want to be with you all the days of my life.
4.
He wants us to know that He loves us so much.
Let
me quote this verse in Jeremiah 31:3 which say, “The
Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an
everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Based on this verse the LORD revealed to us that His He loves us with
an everlasting love. His love never fades. And, as a proof, He made
Himself a body and came down here on earth from heaven to save us
from sin and give us everlasting life by dying on the cross and
rising again on the next day. He guarantees us that if we believe in
His finished work on the cross and accept Him in our hearts and
submit to His lordship and obey Him, we will be saved (John 3:16).
5.
He wants us to know that His plans are for our own good.
All
of the LORD JESUS’ plans for us are for our own good. Let me cite
you this verse found in Jeremiah 29:11 which say,
“For
I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD; plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Ever since the beginning of the world, the LORD JESUS' plans are for
the good of all His creations especially us humans. He wants us all
to live in eternity with Him in heaven. He never wanted to harm us
but to give us abundant, happy, and wonderful life beside Him in
heaven. Until now, that plan still holds true. He always makes ways
to comfort us when we are sad and He offers refuge for us in times of
trouble (Psalm 46:1). He promised to never leave us nor forsake us
(Hebrews 13:5) He is with us until the end of time (Matthew 28:20).
All we have to do is to trust and believe and have a loving and
faithful relationship with Him that is nourished with constant
communication, humility, and obedience.
6.
He wants us to know that He wants all of us to be saved and live in
heaven with Him eternally.
1
Timothy 2:3-4 says this, “This
is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved
and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” As
told in this verse, the LORD JESUS wants us all to be saved.
Salvation is not just for the Jews it is for all, either Jews or not.
Romans 10:13 also says this, “For
everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” So,
you might ask, what is the name of the LORD? His name is JESUS
CHRIST. Believe and seek Him now and you'll be saved. Kindly pray
this sinner's prayer sincerely now, if you haven't received CHRIST in
your heart yet and if you feel in your heart that you are willing to
receive CHRIST. Pray this sincerely:
- LORD JESUS, I believe that You are our One and Only True Living GOD. Thank you for loving me and for dying on the cross and rising again on the third day to save me from sin. Please forgive me from all my sins and cleanse me from all my unrighteousness. I repented my sins. Please come into my heart and be my LORD and SAVIOR. I love You, LORD. I am now ready to receive You and serve You as my Master. Amen.
7.
He wants us to know that we should repent and be baptized for us to
be saved.
Allow me to quote this verse written in Acts 2:38 which say, “Peter replied, "Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” This is what the LORD JESUS wants us to know and do, to repent and be baptized in His name so we will be saved. Repentance or turning away from sin and turning to JESUS as our LORD and Master lead to salvation. Let us consider this verse written in 2 Corinthians 7:10 which say, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” That is why we should repent and be baptized because when we do that, we will receive the Holy Spirit and become born again Christians and be saved. Let us meditate on this verse in John 3:5 which say, “Jesus answered, "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” In other words, we should all be baptized with water and receive the Holy Spirit so that we will all be saved.
8.
He wants us to know that we should prepare our hearts for His second
coming.
The
LORD JESUS says this in John 14:3, “And
if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to
be with me that you also may be where I am.”
He also reminded us this in Matthew 24:44, “Therefore
you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you
do not expect.”
Therefore, as a preparation for the LORD JESUS’ second coming, we
should always make sure that our conscience is clear. Let us consider
this verse found in 1 Peter 3:16 which say, “keeping
a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your
good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.”
Keeping a clean conscience means living according to GOD’s will and
commands written in the Bible. We should strive each and every day to
please JESUS and make sure all our decisions and actions will glorify
Him as it is our purpose (Isaiah 43:7). Therefore, we should all be
like Job in the Bible, who remained humble and obedient in spite of
all His sufferings. He said this, in Job 27:6 “I
will maintain my righteousness and never let it go; My heart will not
condemn me as long as I live.”
In
summary, the LORD JESUS wants us to know that He is our One and Only
True Living GOD, He is love, He loves us so much, He is good and
loving, His plans are always for our good, He wants us all to be
saved that is why He wants us all to repent and be baptized, and to
prepare for His second coming. Thank you so much, my dear reader, for
taking time reading this article. I hope and pray that the LORD JESUS
will guard your heart and mind and keep your heart burning with love
for Him and for others. I love you with the love of the LORD JESUS.
Please draw near to the LORD and keep praying for deliverance and a
stable faith. LORD JESUS, thank You so much for helping me write this
piece. I love You, LORD. All glory, honor, highest praises, and
thanksgiving are Yours, Almighty Father. Amen.
