Top four truths about JESUS

In our search for the real GOD, it is important to know our real God and Savior JESUS CHRIST who is the foundation, author, and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). The LORD JESUS said in Hosea 6:6 that He desires that our knowledge of Him will grow. Actually, if we know JESUS and worship Him as our One True Living GOD, He will be happy and when He is happy He will reward us in many ways that would make us happy too. Happiness comes from knowing and obeying JESUS and submitting to His lordship too (Psalm 112:1). So start knowing JESUS more now so you’ll be happy. Listed here below are the simple living truths in the Bible that prove who JESUS is.

1. JESUS is our One True Living GOD.
It is written in 1 John 5:20 that JESUS is our One True God. Here’s what it says, “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.” The LORD JESUS also revealed that He is the LORD our GOD in Matthew 4:5-7 it says,Then the devil took Him (JESUS) into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to Him. ‘If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down for it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone’. JESUS said to him, ‘It is written again, you shall not tempt the LORD your GOD. In the above-mentioned verses, JESUS revealed that HE is our LORD and GOD by telling Satan not to tempt the LORD your GOD and that GOD was Him because Satan was tempting Him. Oh, what a wonderful revelation is this! Moreover, this is also written in Revelation 1:17-18 “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades". JESUS said, in Revelation 1:17-18 that He is first and the last. He is the FIRST and no one is above Him. He also said in Isaiah 44:6 this, This is what the LORD says, Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the First and the Last; apart from me there is no GOD. The LORD JESUS also revealed that He is our One True Living GOD in this verse in Acts 20:28; it says, Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among whom the Holy Spirit has placed you as overseers to shepherd the church of God, which He obtained through His own blood”. It says in the verse that GOD purchased the church with His own blood. No one died for us except for JESUS so it is clear to say that JESUS is GOD. It is also made known in 1 Corinthians 10:1-4 that JESUS is the GOD who accompanied our ancestors from Egypt to the Promised Land, Canaan. Here is the verse, For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.  They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.”

2. He is our Creator.
It is written in Colossians 1:16 that JESUS is our Creator. Here is the verse, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”

3. He is our SAVIOR.
It is disclosed in John 3:16 that JESUS died so that we may have eternal life. Check this verse, “For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

4. He is our Greatest JUDGE.
2 Corinthians 5:10 tells us that JESUS is our Greatest JUDGE. Here is the verse, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

Now that you know who JESUS is, all you have to do is to believe and accept Him in your heart so that His Holy Spirit will live in your heart and guide you in your Christian journey. I suggest also that you find a Bible-based church like a Pentecostal church and attend service there every Sunday so you’ll grow in your faith. Thank you so much for taking time reading this piece. I love you with the love of JESUS. All glory, honor, highest praises, and thanksgiving are unto Him. Be blessed!

What GOD likes and dislikes

While I was listening to the song "You are Holy (Prince of Peace)" by Michael W. Smith last month, I came across with the lyrics that says "You're the great I am". Upon hearing it, I forgot that the LORD is the Great "I AM" (Exodus 3:14) and I started doubting. But the LORD reminded me that it's Him and that I should not doubt Him because He dislikes a doubtful servant. So, to help you increase your knowledge of Him and know how to love Him, let me tell you the things that He likes and dislikes. Listed below are the things He likes and dislikes. 8 Things GOD likes 1. He likes us. It is said in John 3:16 that GOD loves the world. It means He loves or like us because we are His creations. He gave us His own breath for us to live. 2. He likes a cheerful giver. It is written in second 2 Corinthians 9:7 that GOD loves a cheerful giver. Therefore we should freely give and share whatever we have to our brothers and sisters that are ...

Best and the godly ways to move on from unrequited love that JESUS taught me

Oftentimes we fell in love with someone who does not love us back either because they are not interested in us or is already committed to someone else. This kind of situation is heartbreaking. And, it is hard for our minds and hearts to accept the truth that we are not loved back. We kept on expecting and hoping that someday the person we love will reciprocate the feeling we have for them. But, the more you hope and expect, the more you become hurt until one day you find the courage to tell yourself, ‘this is enough I have to move on’. So, what are the best and the godly ways to move on from unrequited love? Here they are: 1. Believe and accept JESUS as your LORD and Savior. This is the first step to moving on. By doing this, your focus is shifted from the person you love, to the LORD. If you are not a believer or a Christian yet, you should first believe and accept JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR. You can pray this prayer: “LORD JESUS, I believe that you are the On...

Seven proofs that JESUS is GOD

I woke up this dawn feeling hungry, so I cooked some Ramen noodles and ate. After eating, I went back to bed to continue sleeping but I heard the Voice of the LORD telling me to write an article about the Seven proofs that JESUS is our One True GOD. So I prayed. I told Him that I am willing and His will be done and I asked Him to give me knowledge on what are those seven proofs that He is saying. These are the seven proofs that He gave me. 1. He created the world, us, and everything around us. Colossians 1:16 says this, " For by Him (JESUS) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: " See, it is stated clearly here that all things were created by Him and for Him. JESUS is our Creator. He is our Father and our GOD.  2. He is the Word. It is said in John 1:1 that , " In the beginning was the Wo...
