Ten important promises of JESUS CHRIST

It is so comforting to know that JESUS, our One True Living GOD who is truthful and faithful and even powerful has promised to never leave us and will always be there for us whatever happens. Every day when we wake up, we should remind ourselves of these ten important promises of JESUS in the Bible so that we can overcome all challenges that may come our way. Not just that, we can also feel loved, guided, and comforted knowing that the LORD JESUS is always faithful and keeps every promise He makes.

Here are the 10 important promises of JESUS to us:

1. I will be with you.
The LORD JESUS has promised us in Matthew 28:20 that He will be with us. Here is the verse, “and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.” Oh, what a consoling promise it is! LORD, thank you for this promise of companionship with us. Thank you that you will be with us and will never leave us.

2. I will protect you.
It is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that the LORD will protect us from the evil one. Check the verse, “But the LORD is faithful, and He will strengthen you and keep you safe from the evil one.” The LORD is our shield and protection. He did everything to protect us from going to hell even to the point of dying on the cross. And, even until now, He is working to save His people from cruelty and from every form of danger.

3. I will be your strength.
Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help us in times of trouble.” When we need strength to carry out our tasks and endure the hardships of life, we can come to JESUS and ask Him to give us strength and help us overcome all challenges in life.

4. I will answer you.
The LORD JESUS has promised that He will answer us when we call. Meditate on this verse in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about.” It is so nice to know that the LORD wants to talk to us and will answer us when we call. I have proven this many times, whenever I pray for wisdom and wise counsel, the LORD answers me all I did was ask and wait for His reply. So, you can do that too. Try it the LORD hears you.

5. I will provide for you.
The LORD is our Provider. He has promised to supply all our needs in Matthew 6:25-34. He wants us to trust in Him and not to worry about the food and drink we need and clothes to wear because we are much worthy than the birds of the air and the wild flowers. They don’t work but the LORD JESUS feeds and clothes them. Here is also another verse in Philippians 4:19 which says, “And with all His abundant wealth through CHRIST JESUS, my GOD shall supply all your needs.”

6. I will give you peace.
The LORD JESUS has promised us that He will give us His peace. Consider this verse in John 14:27, “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does.” In my personal experience I am at peace when I don’t commit sin but if I sin, the Spirit of the LORD leaves me and I feel sad and troubled. So I always make sure that I follow what the LORD says for me to maintain peace and have joy.

7. I will always love you.
Jeremiah 31:3 says, “I appeared to them from far away. People of Israel I have always loved you, so I continue to show you, my constant love.” Wow! How great is the love of JESUS for us! And, he continues to love us every day by providing us with breath, good health, peace of mind, strength, joy and by protecting us from all harm always.

8. I will give you eternal life.
The LORD JESUS has promised us in John 3:16 that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life and even if we die we will live (John 11:25). He will raise us up again and give us new immortal bodies and we will live with Him in heaven where there is no more pain, suffering, and death (Revelation 21:4).

9. I will give you rest.
Whenever I am down and tired of all the aches of this world, I just meditate on this verse in Matthew 11:28 which says, “Come to me all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads and I will give you rest.” Then I call on the name of JESUS and pray for comfort and help and I am helped and comforted. It is the kind of comfort that you want all your life and you don't want it to leave you. Only in JESUS we can find real rest, comfort, and peace. Seek Him.

10. I will guide you.
The LORD JESUS says in Psalm 32:8, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Isn't it great that the LORD will guide us and advise us in everything we do if we ask His help? Wow, what an amazing GOD we have. We thank you, LORD for Your guidance and direction. Surely, you are our director of this movie called life.

Now my dear reader, memorize and believe in all these promises and you’ll surely be guided and you’ll live joyfully and peacefully. All you need to do is to trust and believe that JESUS is a good and loving GOD (Nahum 1:7). You should also believe in this verse in Proverbs 30:5 which say, “GOD keeps every promise He makes. He is like a shield for all who seek His protection.” I pray that you will have the peace and love of our Great GOD and SAVIOR LORD JESUS CHRIST. All glory, honor, highest praises, and thanksgiving all belong to Him. I love you with the love of JESUS. God bless!

Is JESUS our GOD?

Have you ever asked yourself who JESUS is? And, have you ever wondered if He is our GOD?  If your answer is yes, then this article is for you. By the way, I used to believe that the LORD JESUS is just the Son of GOD and not GOD Himself. But, after attending some church services in a Christian Pentecostal church in college, I started to question who the real GOD is and what is His Name. Fortunately, last night that question was answered and revealed to me by the LORD JESUS. As I was reading an article about baby JESUS on the Bible app for kids which is called Superbook, I ran across a verse found in 1 Corinthians 12:3 which says tbis, "So I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse JESUS, and no one can say JESUS is LORD, except by the HOLY SPIRIT." We can learn from this Bible verse that JESUS is our One and Only True Living GOD. And, no one can confess that He is GOD except when the person is guided by the Holy Spirit. On the other han...

The Gift of Salvation: The True Meaning of Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching and some people think Christmas is about receiving gifts. They think about the presents, the decorations, and the parties. They are missing out on what Christmas is really about. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. It's about knowing that the world is full of despair and knowing that there is someone out there waiting to save you. It's about not being alone. It's about waiting for someone to come and show you the true meaning of Christmas. And only JESUS has made the biggest move to save us from all the troubles that we experience everyday. The true meaning of Christmas is the gift of salvation. This is the reason why the Christmas tree is decorated with evergreen and holly, because these plants represent eternal life. The Christmas tree is also decorated with other greenery because it represents the nature of the world. The Christmas tree is decorated with lights and ornaments, because they represent the light o...

What is JESUS’ will for us?

I spent my life looking for answers on what is JESUS’ will for me and what should I do with my life. I yearn for a happy, content and fulfilled life and I have this deep longing inside me for a better purpose. Until one night, while I was praying JESUS revealed to me His will. He told me that His will is to save us because He loves us so much. Check this verse in  1 Timothy 2:3-4 which say, “This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Since JESUS’ ultimate will is to save us, He wants us to receive His gift of salvation. We first have to believe that He died on the cross to save us from hell and sin. We should as well make a firm decision to turn away from sin and obey Him. Then we should establish a loving and faithful relationship with Him above others. Take note of this verse in Matthew 22:37-38 which say, “ And he said to him,   “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with a...
