Things to do so that JESUS will draw near to you

I am one of the living witnesses of JESUS’ great love for us. JESUS has healed me of my tuberculosis, my broken heart, my depression, my insomnia, and my schizophrenia. He has given me peace and joy. He has accompanied me and we talked to each other every day ever since I was healed from schizophrenia in July 2016. In other words, JESUS and I have a good loving and faithful relationship as friends and as Father and daughter. Having a close relationship with our Creator JESUS CHRIST is the most satisfying and pleasing experience of my life. Every day is a happy day because the LORD is with me counseling me, teaching me, communicating with me and simply lavishing me with His great love. All my heartaches and pains are gone now and are replaced with love, peace, and joy and I want to thank and praise the LORD JESUS for that. Whenever I think of JESUS’ great love for me I also think of others who are not yet saved who doesn’t have a close relationship with Him and have not e...

What is our purpose for living?

For me, seeking our purpose in life is the greatest human longing.  Without purpose, you have no direction and you feel like there is no reason for you to continue living. I have felt that before and have searched here and there for my purpose. Fortunately, after many years of finding my purpose, I found it in the Bible. The LORD JESUS created us to bring Him glory as reflected in Isaiah 43:7 which says, “ They are my own people, and I created them to bring me glory.”  Glory means heavenly happiness this also means that we should please JESUS. The first step to glorifying or pleasing JESUS is to have faith in Him. Having faith means believing in JESUS and being u...

There are also times that we get angry when others reject and ignore a good biblical advice from us. Those are just some reasons that trigger us to be angry. Being angry is normal but the Bible says that we can be angry but shall not sin as reflected in this verse in  Ephesians 4:26-27 AMPC,  “ When angry do not sin; do not let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. Leave no (such) room or foothold for the devil (give no opportunity to him).” So, what are the five biblical ways that we should do when we are angry so that we will not sin? Here they are: 1. Calm down and control your anger. Ecclesiastes 7:9 says,  “ Control your temper for anger labels you a fool.”  Don’t swear at the other person’s face or go directly to him/her and yell, slap his/her fac...
